IGN, one of the biggest websites on the internet for video game news, reviews, comics, and movies, wants to meet and get to know local cosplayers from the Bay Area for a future project which is currently in development! If you live in the area, or just happen to be passing through, and have a passion for designing costumes based on some of your favorite video game, comic book, anime, or movie characters- we'd like to meet you and get to know more about the awesome world of cosplay!

East Bay Anime is being created to give the community a place to gather, watch, and talk about Japanese animation. From projects, conventions, cosplay, each meeting will include screenings of anime films and episodes, discussions and much more. This group is primarily focused on youths and young adults. We are a group of adult geeks who like to hang out and have fun! We will be holding meetups at a multitude of places; conventions, restaurants, bowling, my house, camping, everywhere and anything! Activities will include: gaming tournaments, anime, scifi, or fantasy marathons, comic book discussions, rockband, parties and more!   I welcome suggestions, help, and other organizers!
